| Running lightThe optical highlight of the stair lighting - the softly dimmed, step-by-step switching on of the LEDs - is of course integrated in each of our LED control units, but can also be deactivated on each control unit. |
| Ambient lightingThe LED outputs (up to four) unused for step lighting can be used for additional, general lighting of the staircase. These LED outputs are lightly switched on permanently and thus provide atmospheric basic lighting (brightness can be set on the Professional control). | Permanent lightPermanent light? No problem! On all control units there is a connection for an external switch which activates all connected LEDs softly dimmed. Sophisticated: The continuous light can be switched on at any time, even when the LED control is in standby mode. It is also possible to use an alternating circuit. |
| Twilight sensorThe connection of a twilight sensor that deactivates the automatic control unit during daylight ensures demand-oriented and energy-saving switching. In addition to the automatic system, in standby mode the entrance and ambient lighting are also switched off. |

| Approach lightingWhen this function is activated, the first and last stages are illuminated permanently dimmed (brightness can be set on the Professional control unit). | Quick startWith the switchable Quick Start function, the first steps are activated at increased speed when you enter the stairs, so that the steps in front of you are illuminated immediately. Optically trimmed to perfection, this acceleration is very inconspicuous and is dependent on the set switch-on speed. |

| 20 LED outputs - expandableWith the 20 LED outputs of the control unit you can easily illuminate long stairs in old buildings. Standard value: A staircase in a new building usually has 14 to 16 gradients, stairs in old buildings often have a few steps more. |
| PowerfulThe increased switching capacity of 500 mA per LED output makes it easy to fully illuminate even very wide steps with LED strips. All LED outputs are equipped with a separate fuse for a long service life and safe use. |
 | Removable terminalsRemovable screw terminals allow the LED supply lines to be conveniently screwed together without being attached to the control unit. The "Advanced 4020" series of our LED control units offers the most frequently requested functions of LED stair lighting at a special price-performance ratio.
In addition to the switchable "approach lighting", the permanent lighting of the first and last step, the new "quick start" function is also included: When you enter the stairs, the first steps are activated at increased speed so that the steps in front of you are illuminated immediately.
With the 20 softly dimming LED outputs of the control unit, which can be switched on and off, you can easily illuminate even long stairs in old buildings. Would you like to use long LED strips for the illumination of very wide or spiral stairs over the full width of the steps? No problem for the "Advanced 4020" controller! Each LED output has a capacity of 500 mA - compared to the "Home 2016" controller, an increase of 25 % per channel or 50 % more total output. Numerous protective circuits are integrated in the device for long-lasting and safe operation. For example, in addition to reverse polarity protection, short-circuit and overload protection, each of the 20 outputs is also separately fused.
A further plus is its modularity: this means that the "Advanced 4020" controller can be easily extended to up to 26 LED outputs, or coupled to another controller via a connecting cable: one twilight sensor can thus be used by several controllers at the same time.
The modular terminal block housing enables professional installation directly in house distribution boards.
